I met you at the blood bank.

It's time to fallow my feet.

I havnet updated this in a long time but I that is going to change. I'm back and going to attempt to try to update this once a day or at least a couple times a week.

"Blood Bank EP" - Bon Iver

The first release from Bon Iver and in my opinion consists of some of the best songs they have ever written. This is alos the same band that people said they put out the best record of 2011 which is something I can agree with. That record is their self titled album which I highly recommend also.

Tracks to listen to:
The whole thing, its only four songs.

Monument

Scale the Summit - "Monument"

One of my favorite records right now. A technical metal band with no vocals. The way these guys produce melody one doesn't even notice that no vocals are present. A less complex but at times more complex BTBAM. If you  like metal that doesn't have to have a break down ever 2 seconds, I highly suggest checking out this record.

Tracks to listen to:

Crossing the Ocean
Holding Thunder
Wolves

Wedding bells are ringing in the chapel Should be ringing out for you and me

Lissie "Catching a Tiger"

I first heard about Lessie when I saw City and Colour in Chicago. She was his opening act and I remember enjoying her set just as much as his. I'm recommending her record "Catching a Tiger"and also her EP called "Why You Runnin". Although some of the tracks are on both, some of her best songs are on the EP. Also she covers Kid Cudi's "pursuit of happiness" and Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" those can only be found on Youtube but the quality is perfect.

Tracks to listen to:
Cukoo
In Sleep
Wedding Bells
Little Lovin'

My heart is filled with songs of forever, The city that endures when all is made new.

Thrice - Beggars

Thrice has been one of my favorite bands since I can remember. Ever since I heard Identity Crisis my mind had been blown. For a band that has changed their sound (music matured ) Beggars has become their best record. Although it's a lot more mellow than their previous records, it has structure that wont compare to its predecessor.

Songs to listen to:
Through The Looking Glass
In Exile
Double Speak

Outsider.

Been working on some new material with some good friends in Lee's Summit. I'm really excited to get these songs out and for people to hear them. For the first time in my life I'm finally playing music that I have wanted to play for years. Look out for OUTSIDER.

The Editors - "The Back Room"

I don't know much about these guys but this is my favorite record right now, hands down. Every song on this album is perfect and I cannot stop listening to it. They remind me of a modern version of The Smiths and Joy Division, so if that is your jam get down on this!

Songs to listen to:
Lights
Munich
Camera

I was carried To Ohio in a swarm of bees I never married But Ohio don't remember me.

The National - " High Violet"
I don't know if anyone else has those records that are listened to all year around but one season it means a lot more. This record is one of my "winter time" records and since the weather is getting cold it seems appropriate. This is one of those rare examples of bands that after each release they get better and better. Their newest release "High Violet" adds to  The National's already unshakable concrete career.

Songs to listen to:
Terrible Love
Little Faith
